Hi Everyone and a Happy New Year, I do hope eveyone had a lovely Christmas and New Year and got some lovely pressies.  I was very lucky and got a Nikon D3100 camera from my lovely Barry and herewith are some pictures I have taken with my new camera.

As the weather was so nice yesterday we went into Windsor had a lovely cup of hot chocolate in Costa and then walked past the castle, had to stop and take a picture of the castle soooo nice to see such a lovely blue sky for a change instead of wet and grey.

After we stopped and looked at the castle we went for a walk up the long walk, as you can see there was lots of other people doing the same, look at the sun, amazing what a drop of vitamin D can do for you !

After our walk up the Long Walk we walked back through the back streets and I had to stop and take a picture of this lovely lane and the pub with the hanging baskets oh come on Barry is saying not stopping for another snap are you  !!!!! I did warn him I would become snap happy!!!

We then stopped off on the way back home as I wanted to take some pictures of the trees against the sky as it was getting dark not bad eh ? Really pleased with the way the tree stands out against the sky.

When we got back it was time for a choccy or two I brought this snowman dish from the Range and he has been looking after the contents since Christmas - quick where is the one in the purple wrapper my favourite ummmm!

Barry likes the box I brought from M&S dont they look tempting ! Go on help yourself

Enjoy and thanks for popping by comments alaways welcome

Hi its been a while since I have blogged!!! been soooooo busy with work and Christmas shopping, making cards, talking of which I was asked to make 12 luxury cards for a friend within 7 days !!! Luckily I have had three days off this week and managed to get them done here is the finished card

I used the Tied Forever Embossing Folder and then used liquid pearls on each of the ties.  The Christmas Tree is a Spellbinders 2012 die which was very difficult to die cut, then I again used liquid pearls on each of the swirls on the tree, finished off with a red bow.  Shirley was very pleased with the cards, so much so she has asked me to make another bespoke card by the end of this week, good job I am off Monday as well!!

I purchased a breadmaker about 8 weeks ago and am very pleased with the results, whilst the dough is needing in the machine you can at certain times add different ingredients to the dough, so far I have added walnuts to wholemeal bread and made sundried tomarto and herb bread very yummy, my lovely man Barry enjoys the bread as well, especially with jam he loves jam.

Here is a picture of my breadmaker and some bread I made yesterday.  Hope I don't get snowed in but if I do at least I can have bread !

Thanks for looking and comments always welcome.

A couple of Birthday Cards I have made ..........

I made this card using the new Do Crafts Art Deco pack of
backing papers and decoupage sheets, finishing off the card
with the letters and numbers sheet that also came with the pack.

This card is for Barry's son's girlfriend who is 21 on Christmas Day

A Birthday Card for my dear Dad

For this card for my Dad I used an embossing folder with Happy Birthday written all
over it and the shirt stamp I brought at Newbury Craft Show in
July this year I happened to look in the bargain bin on
one of the stands and saw this for £1.00 !!! yes a £1.00
I stamped the shirt stamp onto stripped paper and stamped both
the pocket, collar and button line of the shirt again to decoupage these areas
and then added buttons to the shirt from my button stash

Am pleased with the way both cards have come out
